The Goberian is recognized by the ACHC (American Canine Hybrid Club) and can be registered through IDCR (International Designer Canine Registry) and ICA (International Canine Association, Inc).

  • Color: The Goberian coat can vary in colors. They can have the coloring of either the Golden Retriever or the Siberian Husky or a combination of both. Most often they will be brown & white, black & white, golden or Black & tan.

Goberian Temperament

The Goberian is an energetic, intelligent dog who is ready to please. This breed is generally happy in nature and love to be around their families. They will make a loyal companion and will do well with children.

Goberian Health Considerations

The most common health issue to occur in the Goberian Shepsky is hip dysplasia. Other health concerns to watch for are:

  • Obesity
  • Elbow Dysplasia
  • Allergies
  • Eye Issues

All mixed breed dogs have a better chance of having less health concerns because of their genetic diversity.

Goberian Coat

This breed has a double coat. The outer coat in normally long & straight with the undercoat being dense and soft.

The Goberian requires weekly brushing to keep their coats nice and soft. They do not need bathed often – every couple of months will suffice.
