Coat & Coat Care
The Pomchi has an abundant textured coat with a highly plumed tail set high & flat. The top coat forms a ruff of hair on the neck & back, and they also have a fringe of feathery hair on the hindquarters. Depending on the Chihuahua, their hair could be a bit shorter and closer to the body.
With their hair it is important to brush daily to help prevent any tangling or matting. They will begin to tangle or mat if not properly brushed or groomed. Grooming every 4 – 6 weeks is recommended.
