Chi-Poo Health Considerations

The Chi-Poo life expectancy is between 13 – 16 years. Health concerns to watch for in this breed are:

All mixed breed dogs have a better chance of having less health concerns because of their genetic diversity.

Chi-Poo Coat

Their coat exhibits three coat varieties: smooth coat (short hair), long hair and wire hair.

Grooming varies between the shorthaired and longhaired Chi-Poo. The shorthaired version of this breed needs to be brushed 2 -3 times per week to keep a healthy coat. The longhaired on the other hand may need to be brushed on a daily basis.
