Bullboxer Temperament

Bullboxers are friendly, intelligent and sociable. They get along well with other dogs and children. They can be stubborn but not aggressive. Bullboxers love their family and love to run & play! Training will be beneficial.

The Bullboxer’s health issues to watch for are:

  • Hip Dysplasia
  • Allergies
  • Cancers

All mixed breed dogs have a better chance of having less health concerns because of their genetic diversity.

Bullboxer Coat

This breed has a shiny coat that is short and smooth.

The coat is rather easy to take care of. Brushing a couple of times a month will keep the coat healthy and shiny. They have a thin coat and do not do a lot of shedding unless it is a seasonal change. It is very important to clean between their wrinkles to help avoid skin irritation and/or infection.

From the moment she stepped through the front door, she was ‘on the same wavelength’ with all of us, and especially mommy (me) She was the sweetest and most gentle dog, always with her head on my shoulder when we’d head out to the park in the car. Always saying thank you to everybody in her family, for the slightest show of affection to her. . always hugging us and showing us love, in any way she could. Always obedient. Always willing to participate in training. Always intelligent. I never knew how sweet life could be until Naomi showed up!
