Havashire Overview The Havashire is a designer breed created through the cross of the Havanese and the Yorkie breed. The Havashire is recognized by the ACHC (American Canine Hybrid Club). This designer breed can also be registered through IDCR (International Designer Canine Registry) and ICA (International Canine Association, Inc).

The Havashire is loyal, affectionate & has a gentle manner. This designer breed enjoys play time and does excellent with children. They love attention & are eager for their owner’s approval.

Havashire Health Considerations

The Havashire is a relatively healthy cross. Some health concerns to watch for are:

  • Hip Dysplasia
  • Ear & Eye Infections
  • Seizures
  • Mitral Valve Disease (MVD)

Havashire Coat

The Havashire coat is soft, wavy & stands away from their body.

The Havashire is hypoallergenic. Grooming every 4 – 6 weeks will prevent any shedding. It will also help prevent any tangling or matting of their hair. Brushing daily will also help maintain a healthy coat.
