The Mini Aussiedoodle is a relatively new breed, but it has already become a popular choice for families and dog lovers alike. This hybrid is the best of both worlds, combining the intelligence and trainability of the Australian Shepherd with the playful personality and smaller size of the Miniature Poodle. The result is a devoted and loving companion that is perfect for those who want all the benefits of a big dog in a smaller package. While the exact origins of the Mini Aussiedoodle are unknown, it is thought that the first dogs were bred in Australia in the early 2000s. Since then, they have quickly gained popularity around the world, thanks to their adorable appearance and outgoing personalities.

These dogs are not only bright, but they’re also athletic and nimble, making them a favorite choice as agility dogs. They are also loving companion dogs that do well with children. They get along with other dogs and pets and are friendly with strangers. So, if you have a busy household full of people and animals, this breed might be right for you! Whether you are looking for a family pet or a furry friend to take on all your adventures, the Mini Aussiedoodle is sure to make your life more pawsome!

Mini Aussiedoodle Puppies Temperament

If you want to buy a Mini Aussiedoodle puppy, it’s smart to do a little research first. These playful, loving dogs make great companions, but they are not lapdogs. This is an exceptionally energetic breed that demands lots of outdoor exercise every day. Mini Aussiedoodles are a spunky and magnetic crossbreed that are sure to make any owner fall in love.

One of the breed’s most delightful attributes is its intelligence since it is a hybrid of two of the most intelligent dog breeds. That’s why they need lots of mental stimulation to stay calm and centered. Teach them jobs like fetching the paper, retrieving their toys, or putting their toys away to keep them mentally occupied. They have an innate need to please their owners and are very food motivated, making them easy to train. However, they can also be stubborn and headstrong, so it is important to be consistent when training.

These canines are good family pets that do well with children. They love meeting new people and play well with other dogs and pets. No matter where they live, Mini Aussiedoodles are sure to bring joy and laughter into your life.

Mini Aussiedoodle Puppy Health Considerations

Though generally very happy and long-lived — with an average lifespan of around 10-12 years — our Mini Aussiedoodles for sale are not without their unique health concerns. Like every breed of dog, there are a few conditions you should be aware of before you consider purchasing one of our Mini Aussiedoodle puppies for sale. Understanding the risks allows you to know the signs and prevent small health concerns from turning into big ones. Mini Aussiedoodle puppies are at a somewhat elevated risk for developing the following conditions:

  •   Luxating Patella
  •   Epilepsy
  •   Hip Dysplasia
  •   Progressive Retinal Atrophy

Mini Aussiedoodles are also at risk for certain genetic conditions, such as von Willebrand’s disease and congenital deafness. Fortunately, many of these health concerns can be managed with medication or surgery.

With some basic knowledge of the breed’s health concerns, you can be sure to give your Mini Aussiedoodle the best possible chance at a long and healthy life. Finding a Mini Aussiedoodle puppy for sale from a reputable breeder can also dramatically — although, not eliminate — the risk of your dog developing some of these conditions. At Keystone Puppies, we work exclusively with experienced breeders who are committed to producing healthy & happy pups. Mini Aussiedoodle Puppy Coat & Coat Care

The coat of the Mini Aussiedoodle can vary depending on which parent breed they take after. If they take after the Miniature Australian Shepherd, they will have a double coat that is medium to long in length and is typically straight or wavy. The coat will be dense and waterproof, making them ideal for cold weather conditions. If they take after the Toy Poodle, they will have a single coat that is typically curly and can range from medium to long in length.

Either coat should be brushed 2 to 3 times each week. If your Aussiedoodle’s coat favors his Poodle ancestry, you may want to trim the coat for easier care. If your pup’s coat resembles the Australian Shepherd, they will shed periodically and should be groomed more often during shedding periods. You should also gently wipe the inside of the ears once a week with a clean, damp cloth to prevent infections.

Mini Aussiedoodle Reviews

  • Luca is a very sweet dog. He loves people, he is popular with our neighbors, he is also great at going shopping, restaurants and bars. I took him on the flights with me sometimes, he fits the carrier perfectly and was very well behaved the whole way. He loves to play fetch, and carries his ball with him everywhere. He loves belly rub and is great at cuddling. I am so happy that I got him, I tell him every day that he is the cutest puppy ever, and we are so lucky to have him!
