The Newfypoo is a designer breed created through the cross of the Newfoundland and the Standard Poodle breed. The Newfypoo is recognized by the ACHC (American Canine Hybrid Club). This designer breed can also be registered through IDCR (International Designer Canine Registry) and ICA (International Canine Association, Inc).

Temperament
The Newfypoo is a highly intelligent breed who is very docile and loving. This breed will make a great family pet as they are great with children and other pets.
Health
One of the largest health concerns with the Newfypoo is Hip Dysplasia. Other health issues to watch for can be:
- Cancer
- Epilepsy
- Malignant Histiocytosis
All mixed breed dogs have a better chance of having less health concerns because of their genetic diversity.
Coat & Coat Care
This breed will have a long coat which could be on the wavy/curly side.
Brushing this breeds coat 2 – 3 times a week will help maintain a nice coat free from matting.
