The Standard Schnauzer is a popular dog breed that originated in Germany. This breed is generally classified as a working dog, with high-intelligence, strength, and endurance. It is claimed that the Standard Schnauzer was first introduced to the United States in 1899 at the Westminster Dog Show in New York City. A healthy Schnauzer’s life expectancy is 13 to 16 years.

Temperament
