The Jug is loyal, lively & affectionate. They are good with children but proper training will do them well. They tend to be a bit stubborn but not usually aggressive.
The Jug coat tends to be short, dense & smooth.
The most recognizable color of the Jug is fawn or fawn with a black mask. Other colors can be black or white & tan.
The Jug has short hair which makes it fairly easy to maintain. Brushing 2 – 3 times a week is recommended. If they have a more wrinkly face, cleaning their folds regularly is also recommended.
The Jug is a relatively healthy dog. Some things to watch for are:

The Jug is a designer breed created through the cross of the Jack Russell and the Pug breed. The Jug is recognized by the ACHC (American Canine Hybrid Club). This designer breed can also be registered through IDCR (International Designer Canine Registry) and ICA (International Canine Association, Inc).
